Our Pre-Crusher Self Contained was designed in response to a customer request. The pre-crusher gate is a guillotine design, when lowered the main ram packs against it to crush the contents, it then raises and allows the ram to push the contents into the container area. This machine can be equipped with a drain system to de-liquefy product - bottles, jugs, cans, wet wipes, etc - or it can be utilized in applications where product destruction is required.
We can "cut down" your compactor to your specific requirements based on the overhead clearance available at your location. We can also "cut narrow" your compactor if there are space constraints for overall width. Whether your challenge is length, width, or height we can probably develop a solution for your toughest space challenge.

Self-Contained Compactor with Pre-Crusher
Self contained compactors equipped with a hydraulic tailgate can be a viable solution where the compactor must be picked up from the container end, but space will not allow the compactor to be set down and turned around on site or at the landfill. With this option, the tailgate is integrated into the compactor assembly, and is activated using the wet kit on the rolloff truck. As with all of our products, we can provide custom solutions - we have a variety of custom hoppers available and are able to cut down the overall height to your requirement.
Our split self-contained compactor is designed for customers who would like to sort their waste and recyclables at the point of use. This machine has a dividing wall that runs the length of the machine, and two dump doors so each material can be dumped separately. These machines can be fed through the wall using a twin chute system, or our engineers can design a fully enclosed or open hopper for your specific application.
Building low profile compactors is almost a daily occurrence at Cram-A-Lot. Low profile, or "cut down" machines are often required when problems with overhead clearance are encountered on site.

During our 37 years in business, we have run into every hoist system on the market. The seven most popular hookups are included in our catalog of standard offerings, but if you're still running a roll-off truck that has a hoist system as old as the dinosaurs, we can accommodate it!
Your tipper can be controlled automatically with the machine, or simple hand valve controls can be provided for manual operation.
